Welcome
A very warm welcome to the Nimla Cherry House website! This fantastic
guest house is situated 14 km from Ficksburg in the Eastern Free
State. The guest house was once the main homestead on a fully
operational cherry, peach and dairy farm. The house has since
been modernized and sleeps 7 people comfortably. An open fire
place and heaters will keep you snug and warm on cold winter nights.
The
house is tastefully furnished throughout. Breath-taking views
overlook the valley of Hammonia and the patio is shaded by a 200
year old oak tree (An ideal place for meals and sundowners). Water
is supplied from a natural spring (refreshing and sweet) and the
air is clean and un-unpolluted.
Your
host on your stay is Christa de Villiers. You will surely miss
out if you do not include her optional dinner as she never lets
a guest leave the table unsatisfied. Please note that we are open
to Weekend guests as well as the one night sleep over guests.
